## What cyon does, in the publisher's words

Build and publish a website on your cyon hosting with Claude or Codex. The plugin brings two things: skills that know what cyon hosting runs and how to deploy to it, and the connection to the cyon MCP server, through which the assistant works on your hostings after you approve it in my.cyon.

- Check whether a project fits cyon before anything is built: PHP, static sites, WordPress and other CMS, SQLite or MariaDB, cron jobs, and what does not run here, such as a Node server.
- Read your hostings, domains, sites, databases, PHP versions and certificates.
- Create a subdomain, put a domain you already registered on a hosting, create a database, set the PHP version, and switch on HTTPS with a Let's Encrypt certificate.

## Skills

- cyon-cms: Install, deploy or run WordPress, WooCommerce or a flat-file CMS such as Kirby on cyon hosting. Use when content is edited in the browser, when plugins or themes are installed through an admin, or when uploads must survive a deployment. Covers which paths are persistent and who owns them, updates,…
- cyon-operations: Keep a site on cyon hosting running once it is live, with backups that restore, cron jobs that do not overlap, the checks to repeat after a change, what to measure when it gets slow, and what to hand over to the customer. Use after a deployment, when setting up maintenance, or when a working site h…
- cyon-php-app: Build or deploy a PHP application on cyon hosting, from plain PHP and Slim to Laravel and Symfony, with one document root and SQLite or MariaDB. Use when a project has server-side logic, logins, a database, queued jobs or scheduled tasks, including a shop that is not WooCommerce. Covers the layout…
- cyon-platform: What cyon hosting actually runs, and whether a planned stack can run on it. Load this BEFORE choosing a framework, a data store, a cache or a deployment method for a site hosted at cyon, and before answering "can I build X on cyon". Covers the PHP, LiteSpeed, MariaDB and CloudLinux runtime, what is…
- cyon-preflight: Audit an existing codebase against what cyon hosting can run, before deploying it or quoting a migration. Use when asked whether a project will run on cyon, why a deployment failed, or to check a repository before moving it to cyon hosting. Reports blockers that cannot be fixed on the platform and…
- cyon-provisioning-checklist: The steps on a cyon hosting that a person has to perform in my.cyon, as an ordered runbook to hand over. Use when preparing a cyon hosting for a deployment, when a tool call refuses because a prerequisite is missing, or when asked what the customer has to click before a site can go live. Says which…
- cyon-static-site: Build and publish a static site on cyon hosting, from plain HTML to Astro, Vite, Eleventy and Hugo, or Next, Nuxt and SvelteKit as a static export. Use when a project needs no server-side logic, when a contact form is its only dynamic part, or when a static frontend gets a small PHP API beside it.…
- cyon-troubleshooting: Find out why a site on cyon hosting is broken before changing anything, whether a 500 error, a blank page, a 403 or 404 after a deployment, a certificate warning, a form that sends nothing, or a cron job that fails. Works through the usual causes in order with the tools the assistant actually has,…
