## What dotnet-nudge does, in the publisher's words

A.NET maintenance plugin marketplace with shared agent skills and separate Copilot CLI and Claude Code hook adapters.

Plugin 0.3.0 requires engine 1.1.0 or newer for explicit package reports, SDK inventory, agent-helper recommendations and the optional dotNudge canvas.

The plugin uses one launcher for MCP, hooks and CLI commands. On first MCP or CLI use, it automatically downloads the matching self-contained engine from this repository's latest stable release, verifies both the compressed archive and executable SHA-256 digests, and installs it under writable user data. Subsequent starts reuse a compatible engine offline. If an updated plugin requires a newer managed engine, the next MCP/CLI start downloads and verifies the required upgrade; there is no recurring latest-release check. No engine PATH modification or.NET SDK installation is required. Node.js 22 or newer must be on PATH. Hooks remain network-free and never bootstrap an engine themselves.

From the project README, punctuation lightly normalized. Full text: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Redth/dotnet-nudge/HEAD/README.md

## MCP servers

- dotnet-nudge: transport: stdio; command: node ${PLUGIN_ROOT}/scripts/run.cjs mcp; env: NUDGE_PLUGIN_DATA

Read from the plugin's own mcp.json. Environment variable names only, never values.
