## What maestria does, in the publisher's words

maestria ships one directly installable plugin with native host components and four skills. Canonical methodology lives in packages/core/agent-directives/; generated resources and all five host manifest directories live at this package root. Git/local installations and npm archives expose the same resource paths.

Roles, modes, dispatch, and policy are not published as root skills. Full native profiles include the role and policy required in an isolated child. Workflow commands carry their mode, router, policy, and argument contract without loading removed skills.

Each profile's frontmatter carries every Markdown host's keys at once, and each host reads only its own: readonly (Cursor), disallowedTools: [Write, Edit] (Claude Code, Kimi Code, ZCode), and subagents: [] (Kimi). Profiles omit model, so hosts use the main conversation's model. Primary-session routing comes from each host's always-on rule, context, or companion installation, not from a dispatcher profile.

## Skills

- create-pull-request: Draft or revise a pull request title and body and check it is ready for review. Use when preparing a PR, reviewing its text, refreshing it after a push, or before marking it ready.
- diagnose: Trace a bug, regression, failure, or crash to an evidence-backed root cause, then hand off or apply the minimal fix. Use when the cause is unknown or disputed, or when auditing where the same defect recurs.
- docs-update: Assess documentation impact and update affected docs for a code, API, config, or operator workflow change. Use when a change affects documented behavior, when asked to update stale docs or reconcile docs with code, or when a decision or status recorded in plans or ADRs changed. Do not use for trivi…
- handoff: Pass outcome, constraints, evidence, blockers, and next steps between workflow stages
- iteration-limits: Bound repair and stop repeated work using verifiable termination criteria
- plan: Write a phased implementation plan with verifiable tasks, rollback points, PR boundaries, and an evidence tracker. Use for multi-phase features, rollouts, and migrations, or for work that will span sessions.

Descriptions come from the frontmatter of each SKILL.md, punctuation lightly normalized.
