## What okf-graph-eng does, in the publisher's words

OKF graph engine: validate, walk, pack, and impact-analyze Git-native knowledge graphs. This plugin does not own domain nouns. It owns the envelope and two infrastructure types: Catalog and ContextPack.

Works in Claude Code, Grok Build (zero-config), Cursor, Codex, Grok Bot, and LangChain Deep Agents.

Domain types live in sibling plugins. This engine reads whatever type you put in YAML frontmatter: unknown types fall back to BaseConcept (type + title only). That fallback is read-only envelope parsing: it does not authorize a write. validate --strict rejects unknown types (fail-closed).

- Treat the bundle as a directed graph (absolute Markdown links + optional links[].rel).
- Compute blast radius (impact) before structural edits.
- Emit a ContextPack: the smallest subgraph that is still useful.

## Skills

- okf-author: Create or update OKF concepts using the core envelope (type + title). This plugin owns Catalog and ContextPack only. For domain nouns, hand off to PKC, SAC, DEKC, or AGER.
- okf-impact: Compute the transitive impact (blast radius / ripple) of changing a concept in an OKF bundle. Use when the user asks what depends on a concept, what breaks if something changes, needs a ranked update list, or wants blast-radius / ripple analysis before editing knowledge nodes.
- okf-init-graph: Scaffold an OKF bundle for the graph engine, catalogs, knowledge, packs, index.md, log.md. Does not seed AgentNode, Workflow, TicketLink, or other domain nouns; those belong to PKC, SAC, DEKC, and AGER.
- okf-maintain: Curate OKF bundles: indexes, log.md, drift detection, broken links, orphan cleanup, staleness, and v0.1 to v0.2 migration. Use when the graph feels messy, catalogs are out of date, links break, content is stale, or the user asks to maintain, curate, or migrate an OKF bundle.
- okf-query: Multi-hop query and subgraph extraction over OKF bundles for progressive disclosure. Use when packing minimal context for long-running agents, exploring the neighborhood of a concept, or answering what relates to X within N hops.
- okf-validate: Validate OKF v0.2 conformance and graph quality: orphans, connectivity, staleness, unverified high-impact nodes, broken links, missing frontmatter. Use when checking bundle health, before commits/PRs, after bulk edits, or when the user asks if the OKF graph is valid.
- okf-visualize: Visualize OKF bundles as Mermaid, HTML summaries, or JSON graphs. Use when the user wants a diagram of knowledge, an HTML map, or export for docs.

Descriptions come from the frontmatter of each SKILL.md, punctuation lightly normalized.
