## What open-cu does, in the publisher's words

Let your coding agent use the apps on your computer.

open-cu (Open Computer Use) lets Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode or any MCP client read and operate Windows desktop apps. It can open an app, read its window, click buttons, fill in forms and type, and it reports back only what changed. It speaks the same tool language as OpenAI's Codex Computer Use, but it is open source and works with any agent. With the optional TypeSafe Jev model, your agent can simply describe what to click.

12 tools · Window reads in ~50 ms · Diffs, not dumps · Works out of the box · Optional Jev targeting
