## What psp2shell does, in the publisher's words

psp2agent is a PlayStation Vita control toolkit. It contains the psp2shell_m.suprx user plugin, the optional psp2shell_k.skprx kernel plugin, a native psp2shell_cli client, a localhost control panel, Python automation tools, and a portable agent skill. The on-device module and skill names remain psp2shell for compatibility.

The Vita plugin can expose legacy shell and FTP services, authenticated v2 operations, and a short-lived HTTP control and recovery service. Capabilities depend on the build profile and the device's active configuration. See Architecture, Protocol, and Known issues.

When a release is published, download it from GitHub Releases. Release assets provide the agent package, a host CLI archive, a Vita module pair, a profile manifest, and checksums. Verify the checksums and read PROFILE.json before installing a Vita module. The module pair must come from the same archive. The first Vita release awaits an independent readback of the installed module pair and a byte-identical rebuild.
