## What readwise-reader does, in the publisher's words

连接 Reader 阅读库、读取文章与标签，按用户要求保存资料链接，保留分页与来源。

在 XOPC 扩展市场安装，默认供所有 Agent 使用。安装时登录账号或暂时跳过；之后可从详情页继续授权。

Use reader_action to work with the connected Readwise Reader library. Connect a Readwise token in plugin details; the token is stored locally, never in Store.

- Use list_documents with bounded limits and follow nextPageCursor only as needed. An initial page is not a complete library inventory. Use list_tags to understand existing categorization.
- Prepare a reading shortlist or topic brief with document titles, source URLs and timestamps, separating saved summaries from original evidence. Do not claim full text is available when the API response only includes metadata.
- Save a link only when the user requests it: use save_document with the exact public URL, optional tags and confirm=true. Return the actual saved document ID and verify with a subsequent list.

From the project README, punctuation lightly normalized. Full text: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/xopcai/xopc-plugins/HEAD/plugins/readwise-reader/README.md

## MCP servers

- readwise-reader: transport: stdio; command: node ${PLUGIN_ROOT}/mcp/server.mjs readwise; env: ACCESS_TOKEN

Read from the plugin's own mcp.json. Environment variable names only, never values.
