## What rss-reader does, in the publisher's words

订阅 RSS/Atom、导入 OPML，按时间筛选和去重，整理带出处的中英文资讯简报。

在 XOPC 扩展市场安装，默认供所有 Agent 使用。无需云账号；在对话里提供资料、文件路径或公开链接即可使用。

Use feed_read to consume public RSS 2.0 or Atom, or parse XML supplied by the user. Use feed_import_opml for subscription exports; importing does not subscribe to a remote service.

- Establish topics, time range, and feed URLs. Chinese and international sources are both supported. Use the publisher's own feed when available; do not invent RSSHub routes or claim a feed exists without fetching it.
- Read up to 30 items per source. Expand only when the returned truncated flag warrants it. Preserve publication times and distinguish them from collection times; undated items are not evidence of recency.
- Deduplicate across sources by normalized URL and topic, while retaining corroborating links. Keep the feed source beside every headline.
