## What tailr does, in the publisher's words

This directory is the installable bundle: skills, the MCP server, and a manifest for each agent that has a plugin format. It is not part of the npm package, files in package.json keeps it out of the tarball.

The catalogs that point here live at the repository root:

/tailr:start (and Cursor's /start) tell the agent to run npx … tailr start or call tailr_start, Tailr detaches itself. Agents must not shell-background a bare tailr, and must not edit anything under.tailr/.

From the project README, punctuation lightly normalized. Full text: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/gcrft123/tailr/HEAD/plugin/README.md

## Skills

- config: Read or change the reviewer's Tailr settings, the key they hold to mark, and whether Tailr makes a sound. Invoke with /tailr:config (Cursor: /config).
- review: The Tailr review loop: wait for the reviewer's batch of visual markup on the running dev server, apply each mark, and report it as it lands. Use whenever a Tailr session is running or being started, whenever a batch of marks arrives, and whenever the user talks about marking up the app, the review…
- start: Start a Tailr session against the running dev server and begin watching for the reviewer's first batch of visual markup. Invoke with /tailr:start.

Descriptions come from the frontmatter of each SKILL.md, punctuation lightly normalized.

## MCP servers

- tailr: transport: stdio; command: npx -y @gcrft123/tailr mcp

Read from the plugin's own mcp.json. Environment variable names only, never values.
