## What wistia does, in the publisher's words

Connects AI agents to a Wistia account through Wistia's hosted MCP server: media, folders, channels, captions, webinars, analytics, and AI remix. Includes general guidance plus focused workflow skills that teach agents how to use the tools safely and effectively.

Clients that implement Agent Skills discover these directories automatically. Each workflow defers current tool names, parameters, pricing, and behavior to the connected MCP server's initialization instructions and schemas.

The MCP server itself is hosted by Wistia at https://api.wistia.com/mcp/api (streamable HTTP): this plugin contains no server code. Any MCP client can also connect to that URL directly without the plugin.

## Skills

- using-wistia: Work with a Wistia account through the Wistia MCP server, understand core concepts, find and manage content, paginate results, use analytics, and create AI remixes. Use for general or multi-purpose Wistia tasks that do not fit a more specific bundled workflow skill.
- wistia-language-audit-order: Audit whether high-performing Wistia videos have captions and dubs for the languages their audiences use, estimate current costs, and optionally place approved orders. Use for localization coverage, language-demand, missing-translation, or dubbing audit requests; not for a one-off caption edit.
- wistia-registration-updates: Measure a Wistia webinar's registration pacing against its goal and optionally configure recurring pre-event updates. Use for signup pacing, registration goals, promotion timing, or scheduled webinar-status requests; not for post-event performance recaps.
- wistia-video-performance-report: Build a read-only Wistia performance scorecard for one video, a folder, a channel, or the whole account, including period-over-period trends and optional current external benchmarks. Use for performance reports, dashboards, comparisons, or underperforming-video questions; not for second-by-second e…
- wistia-video-upload: Upload a video to Wistia or finish setting up a newly uploaded video with the correct folder, metadata, tags, and captions. Use for upload, organize, publish-ready, or new-video setup requests; not for analytics or editing existing video content.
- wistia-webinar-recap: Turn a completed Wistia webinar into a performance recap, optional Remix-generated social clips, and a ready-to-edit recap article or HTML report. Use for post-event webinar analysis and repurposing; not for registration pacing before the event.

Descriptions come from the frontmatter of each SKILL.md, punctuation lightly normalized.
