## What newton-isaac does, in the publisher's words

Portable Hermes Agent plugin for Newton's Isaac commerce skills.

The plugin adds the existing isaac-fetch, isaac-research, and isaac-export Agent Skills and connects them to the existing Isaac MCP server. It contains no payment, custody, policy, or signing implementation.

The canonical source lives in newton-agent-neobank/integrations/hermes. The standalone isaac-hermes-plugin repository is generated from a reviewed NeoBank commit. Changes to generated plugin files belong in NeoBank.

- Hermes Agent 0.20.1 or newer; validated against 0.20.5 (v2026.8.19).
- macOS or Linux. Isaac credential files are not supported on Windows.
- Node.js 20 or newer.
- @newton-xyz/isaac-cli 0.1.0 installed so isaac is on PATH.
- An owned Newton vault and agent plus an operator Platform API key.
