piebird-threads
v0.1.0by georgelubaretsi · author: George Lubaretsi
Open threads in front of omp's agent: the project's open lines of work, in the folder its.omp/threads.json names, listed before a prompt whenever the list changes; a rule and skill on writing them
What piebird-threads does, in the publisher's words
Keep the project's open lines of work in front of your agent. A thread is a Markdown file, one per line of work, in a folder you choose; the agent gets the list of open threads, which of them wait on you, and the next step of each. omp gets it before your prompt, again whenever the list changes; Claude Code at the start of a conversation and after compaction. Codex gets the skill.

- Threads, the files that keep work in progress. Read this before you open, create or update a thread, and before switching topic or ending the session: where threads live, the few parts the plugin reads, and how to keep them useful.
Descriptions come from the frontmatter of each SKILL.md, punctuation lightly normalized.

Create temporary project-scoped agent variants with explicit model routing
Read coding agents' session journals (omp, Claude Code, Codex): a session_read tool that reads, pages and searches a session by id and line, with asks shown in full, and the agent told its own session id
Use Tern from omp: a tern_lua tool running Lua with Tern's window API (agents, layout, blocks, git, settings) and a tern skill
omp in Tern, drawn the way omp looks in Ghostty: one box per tool call, thoughts left open, bash as $ command, compact diffs and replies
How to work: weigh problems in proportion, think before building, fix corrections as classes, failure classes to check, project tooling, changelogs and when to ask
