rad-brainstorm

v4.1.2

by RadOrigin-LLC · author: RAD

Text-first brainstorming for one person. It separates idea generation from evaluation and cannot guarantee useful ideas or correct conclusions.

What rad-brainstorm does, in the publisher's words

RAD Brainstorm is an Agent Plugins 1.0.0 package for one-person, text-based idea work with Codex. It helps the user frame a question, create or compare ideas, and choose a small way to test the leading option. It cannot guarantee useful ideas or correct conclusions.

It is a good fit when normal chat feels too loose and a full product discovery process would be too much.

The normal flow is:

  • Choose quick or full depth and a facilitator, partner, or generator role.
  • Set the goal, affected person, success signal, and hard constraint.
  • Ask for the user's starting ideas before Codex adds ideas in facilitator or partner mode.
  • Label each idea as user, AI, or research.
  • Use one familiar idea method, such as SCAMPER, How Might We, reverse brainstorming, or Six Thinking Hats.

brainstorm-session
Use when the user explicitly wants to brainstorm, generate or expand ideas, explore alternatives, use a named creative method, or work from a blank or vague starting point. Do not use for a direct answer, root-cause interview, idea ranking, technical design, or implementation planning.
five-whys
Use when the user wants a user-led root-cause interview for a repeated problem, failure, delay, defect, or other observed symptom. Do not use for open ideation, option ranking, or evidence-led code diagnosis.
idea-evaluation
Use when the user already has two or more ideas and wants to compare, rank, test, or select among them. Do not use to create the first idea set, conduct a root-cause interview, produce a technical design, or plan implementation.
software-design
Use when the user has chosen what software to build and wants a reviewable technical design or design spec before implementation planning. Do not use for open ideation, code implementation, project scaffolding, or brand and visual design.
